Our Button Quail Eggs are collected from our farm daily to provide a fresh high protein, calcium rich and densely nutritious alternative to standard feeders. Our Superworms (Zophobas morio) are a type of darkling beetle larvae. They are a common feeder insect for both insectivorous and omnivorous reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, and other exotic pets. This is because they are readily available, inexpensive, and easy to house. Superworms are high in fat and phosphorus, so they are best fed as treats or in a rotation with low-fat, high-calcium feeders.

Our live feeder crickets are common brown crickets, are a light brown color with long antennae, wings and large jumping legs. Crickets are a favorite food for many reptiles, amphibians, fish and arachnids. These animals typically eat crickets in the wild, and they thrive on the hunt for live feeder crickets in captivity. Our Dubia Roaches are more nutritious than mealworms, superworms or crickets in terms of the relative amount of protein (up to 23% in Dubia roach nymphs as compared to 16-20% in the other feeders). Protein, in particular, is more important for reptiles than fats or carbohydrates (although smaller amounts of these two types of nutrients are required as well).

Our waxworms are the creamy white grub-like larvae of the Greater Bee Moth. They have very high-fat content so are ideal to add as an occasional supplement or to stimulate an animal’s appetite. Reptiles, such as bearded dragons, geckos, chameleons, and box turtles, and larger arachnids such as tarantulas, all benefit from the addition of live waxworms to add fat to their diets.
